How Can It Be...

...my first born child is 12 TODAY! Oh my goodness...12 years old. Where has the time gone? I told Tucker James this morning that I remember kssing his cute little feet all day long when he was a baby (I won't go near his feet now!). I am really feeling a bit melancholy today as I remember all the the fun we have had over the past 12 years. I wish the next 12 would pass by more slowly.

Tucker is growing into a fine young man. Stan and I are so proud of him and thank God every day for blessing us with him. Tucker had his friend party on Saturday night and tonight we are going to his favorite restaurant (On The Border) for dinner and more celebrating. I will share the layouts I create once I create them.
Have a happy day everyone!

You Rock!

Here are 2 of the 3 layouts my April Scrapbook Clubs will be creating. I love this "You Rock" Scrapbook Kit. The colors are so much nicer in real life than what the Idea Book portrays. It truly is an awesome assortment of papers. And did I mention how versatile it is? We used this kit to create layouts from our New Zealand Trip and here I am using it to showcase my children's swim team photos. How Cool, eh?!
If you would like to participate in the April scrapbook class via in person or by mail please contact me. I'd love to have you join in the fun!

Cup Cake Jeans

Here is a photo of me at the Cup Cake Crop this past weekend. These are the jeans that my daughters' hair stylist painted for me. Didn't they come out cute?!

Thank you to all those who visited with me at the crop on Saturday. I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces, as well as meeting new friends! Please stay in touch and let me know if/when you have any questions or need help with your stamping and scrapping projects!
Make it a great day!

Cupcakes Anyone?

Hello! I am alive! Sorry for my lack in posting the last few days. I have been sick with that nasty cold that is going around. Man...it hit me like a ton of bricks. One minute I felt great and then next, I could not stop sneezing and my head felt as if it weighed 100 pounds.
Anyway, I am on my way to recovery (thank goodness!). I am actually leaving in the morning to vendor at a crop. The crop is a Cupcake Theme! How cool is that? I became hooked on all things cupcakes about a year ago...thanks to my gal pal, Shannon (hi Shannon!). Anyway, tomorrow should be fun. This layout is the project those attending the crop can make and take at my booth. I hope they have as much fun creating it as I did!
I have the car packed and my clothes laid out for the morning...get a load of this...my daughter's hair stylist painted CUPCAKES on my jeans! I am really getting into this whole Cupcake Theme, eh?! I will be sure to post a photo of me from the crop sporting my cupcake jeans upon my arrival back home!
I hope all my croppin' friends plan to stop in and visit me-I look forward to seeing y'all in the morning!
Happy Weekend Friends!
SMiles,
Amy

Saturday Morning Chuckle!

On Saturday morning I woke up to see my youngest daughter, Payton all dressed-up in a ballerina costume...and cowboy boots! My older daughter, Molly was dressed up in her Amish Girl costume and was pretending to be the character in the book series she is currenly reading! Talk about exact opposites,eh? I could not help but chuckle to myself! I knew it was going to be a wonderful day with my girls! Unfortunately, Molly got changed into regular clothes before I could snap a photo of her and Payton side-by-side. I will have to act faster next time!
Enjoy!

"YEAR IN PICUTRES" WORKSHOP SERIES!

YEAR IN PICUTRES MONTHLY WORKSHOP
(“YIP” CLUB)
How would you like to learn a system where you can highlight a month of your life at a time in a simple, organized manner? The “Year in Pictures” workshop series is just the class for you if you have answered “YES” to the above question!
This series of classes stems from Becky Higgins “Project 365” and “Project Life” idea. The end result is an album that highlights the every day, as well as, the special occasions that occur in your life every day of the year! I take a photo every day and will showcase these “every day” photos in my YIP album. If you don’t wish to take a photo a day, that is fine. You can use your monthly kit to highlight a month of your life at a time. The kit will consist of simple two-page layouts that feature seven photos-one for every day of the week plus journaling using stamps, inks and the Photo Storage Page Protectors. I just love these things! They can hold 6 – 4”x6” photos on each side for a total of 12 pictures! They work perfectly for this type of album. I will be posting my March 1-6th layout to my blog early next week.
Please join me on THURSDAY, APRIL 1st for our first class (PLEASE R.S.V.P on/before MARCH 19th). If you have not yet taken any photos in March start doing so now. Then bring your photos to class on April 1st and you will create your pages, add your journaling and go home with the entire month on March scrapped and journaled! How is that for accomplishment!
We will continue in this format every month for the entire year!
The class will meet on the FIRST THRUSDAY NIGHT of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The first 6 people to sign up will received a FREE INK PAD so contact me TODAY!
The monthly cost will be just $15.00. This covers your page protectors, papers and use of my stamps and inks. You just need to bring your photos and basic tool kit each month to class (paper trimmer, adhesives, memory glue dots, scissors).
Occasionally I may use some type of other embellishment on my layout which will be an optional add-on for you if you choose.

Thank you to Pamela O'Conner and Melissa McBride for sharing their ideas and inspiration with me in forming this club. I appreciate your willingness to share!

A Great, Great day!

Last weekend my family made me feel like a queen! I celebrated my 42nd birthday (I can not believe I am that old!!!!) and they all made me feel super special! This was the yummy cookie cake they bought for me. I am not a big fan of chocolate (unless it is white chocolate or almond M&M's) so this giant sugar cookie was perfect!

I was spoiled with gifts from family and friends and then we went on a field trip to...the APPLE STORE! I am now the proud owner of an Apple Laptop!!!!! I have so much to learn but I am so excited! I begin my one-to-one classes one week from Sunday-that day can not come soon enough!

Thank you Tucker, Molly, Payton and Stan, Mom, Dad and the Fraleigh Family, Tonya and Trina and all those who sent birthday wishes via facebook, phone calls and cards! I appreciate all you did for me to make me feel extra-special!
