My Daughter's First Studio J layouts!

Greetings! I am still alive! My family and I have been out of town on our annual Camp McGrew Camping Trip. What fun we always have on this family get-away and this year was one of the best...say our children! My youngest daughter, Payton (age 8) was busy all day today scrappin' in Studio J. I was so impressed with how quickly she took to my MAC and Studio J. She knows how to do more than I do! Aren't these layouts awesome!

I know I am constantly encouraging y'all to visit my website and play around with Studio J. If you have not done so already, I hope that these layouts created by my 8 year old will motivate you to play RIGHT NOW! There are still a few hours left to get your FREE JPG!

Tucker's First Studio J Layout!

I spent all of 10 minutes a few weeks ago teaching my son, Tucker (age 13), how to scrapbook in Studio J. He has since created about 6-7 layouts! I love that he is enjoying it, that he is doing something constructive on the computer when it is too hot down here to be outside and I LOVE that he is documenting some of our family memories! Here is the layout he choose for his Free JPG. Didn't he do a great job!
Now my two daughters (ages 11 and 8) are anxious to create some layouts in Studio J! Once they do I will be sure to share their artwork as well!

There are still 7 days left for YOU to play in Studio J and get YOUR FREE JPG! Hop on over to my website ( and create your layout today. Once you complete the layout continue to follow the steps to checkout and click on the JPG Only option, then the FREE JPG will show up. You will spend NO MONEY and have a super cool layout to email to family and friends or post on your facebook page! Even better...have each of your children create a layout and they, too, can receive a FREE JPG!

Many Close to my Heart Consultants have asked if there is something we could do to support those affected by recent severe weather in the US, and we’ve also had requests to extend the availability of the You & Me scrapbooking kit offered during the month of May. We’ve combined those two aims into a single campaign called You & Me: Stronger Together, to raise funds for the survivors of the severe storms that have pummeled the Midwest and Southern states.

During the month of June, order a You and Me kit for only $15 (a retail value of $34.95), and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross 2011 Floods and Tornadoes relief operations. Simply use item number CC1012B to place your order for this sensational kit and help those in need at the same time. The You & Me Stronger Forever campaign will continue until June 30 at 11:59 pm (MDT) or while supplies last.

Even if you already have a You & Me Kit, wouldn't it be great to have more of that yummy paper, and that delicious ribbon? Order your discounted You & Me Kit online today.

Offer valid June 2–30, 2011, or while supplies last. No qualifying purchase required. Tax and shipping/handling charges apply. The placement of the donations is prioritized by the American Red Cross, with all money earmarked for disaster relief from the tornadoes and flooding in the midwestern and southeastern United States.

Jubilation: The June Stamp of the Month

Here is a card I created using the June Stamp of the Month: Jubilation (#1457). I used the Wings paper pack (#X7135B), Juniper Ink Pad (#Z2165), Vineyard Berry Ink Pad (#z2157), Black Waxy Flax (#Z1089), and the Green Brad Assortment (#Z1364).
I created my own pattern cardstock by simply using the bone folder (#Z1204). I scored my cardstock every 1/8th inch and then turned the cardstock over and rubbed my Vineyard Berry Ink Pad across the surface. Simple and Fast and the results are striking! Give this technique a try today!
All products I listed above are available on my website ( or feel free to contact me and I will be happy to order them for you (some products I even have in stock here at my house!).

During the Studio J Free-For-All, CTMH is giving EVERYONE a FREE Studio J JPG file-no purchase required! Simply log on to Studio J, create a layout, then order one JPG file of your layout. It’s as easy as that! Download and save your file so you can post your layout online, email it to family and friends, or print them.

If you have a Studio J or a MyCTMH account, just log in and start creating. If you don’t have an account, creating one is easy. You can access Studio J on my website (

Discover how quick and simple scrapbooking can be with Studio J-and get your FREE JPG layout in Free-For All June!

So what can you do with a Studio J JPG file? Besides having the opportunity to learn more about how your scrapbooking can be faster, simpler and easier with Studio J, think about this!

1. Share your photos and memories with your friends by emailing the JPG, posting it on your blog and or facebook. Everyone will love to see what you have created!

2. Print the JPG in 12x12 and add it to your personal scrapbook. Although the color quality may be a bit different when the layout is printed by another company, they will still be beautiful and you can enjoy your layouts in full size!

3. Print your JPG in a smaller layout such as 8x8 and begin creating a mini album for a grandparent or friend. Sharing your memories and photos make others who may have missed an event, feel included. These mini albums also make great gifts.

4. Print your JPG in a 5x5 or 4x4 size and use it as a Christmas card! Wow, what if you had your holiday greetings ready to go in June! Talk about being prepared! And they will be unique and personalized to you and your family! I bet no one will receive the same or similar card!

5. The most IMPORTANT thing you can do with a high resolution jpeg of your layouts is to burn a couple of cd/dvd copies and store them offsite. With any complete Studio J layout, when you purchase the print of the layout from CTMH you also receive the three JPG's as part of your purchase. Or, you can purchase just the JPG's as well. In the wake of all the tornados, flooding, and fires, storing JPG's on a disc off site, assures that your memories and photos are safe.

6. Print the JPG and frame it for a gift. Personalized layout make beautiful gifts filled with memories.
