Christmas Cricut Class! Kids Paper Crafting Class

This class was inspired by the ever so talented Lisa Stenz.  The class will be held on Saturday, December 1st from 9:30am - 12:30pm. We will make (2)

 each of four different projects including a gable box, a “formal Santa” gift bag, a gift card holder, and a tag. I will walk you through the process of cutting and making each project. Just bring your Cricut machine, Artiste cartridge, adhesive, and ink pads (if you own them) and I will supply the rest. Or if you do not have a Cricut (must be a 12’ inch machine) but would still like to join us for the class, I will be happy to pre-cut everything for you for an extra $5. This class is available as a “Workshop To Go.”  The shipping cost is $6.00 and if you would like me to cut your paper just add the additional $5.00 cutting fee.

During our time together at this class the children will be embellishing an 11’ chipboard bracket frame-perfect for gift-giving this holiday season!

Along with the frame, the participants will receive their own pack of Holiday Dimensional Elements and the paper needed to cover the frame. 

Class Fee includes all materials needed to successfully embellish the frame.  My instruction is FREE and any left-over materials is their’s to take home.

Please send you child to class with a photo between the size of 4 x 6 up to 5 x 5.

Last weekend Stan and I took the kids away for a family retreat.  We have not had a free weekend since the end of July.  It was a wonderful 3 days together hiking, eating, playing "Scattergories", laughing and great conversation.

Many memories were made and the kids decided that this fall get-away needs to be a tradition.

Clearly the Best: Pigment or Dye

When the 2012 Autumn Idea book released on August 1st we were exposed to the new pigment ink pad cubes.  These little squares of ink are jam-packed with juicy ink perfect for home decor projects, embossing and so much more.  They may be small but boy are they powerful!  Pigment ink serves a particular purpose.  In other words-there are projects that pigment ink is highly recommended for and then there are projects that call for dye ink.  Take a look at the video below to learn about when each type of ink is recommended for projects.
