HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween!
Our house has been full of festivities this weekend. My parents have been here visiting for the past week which makes it all the MORE fun! Last night we carved our pumpkins and watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (my all-time favorite Halloween movie!). Here are some photos of the fun we had.
Tomorrow is the start of a new month which means there is a NEW STAMP OF THE MONTH and a NEW SPECIAL hosted by Close To My Heart. I am excited to also be offering an INCREDIBLE SALE during the first week of November. Be sure to stop by tomorrow to learn all about both specials AND to see arteork created using the NEW STAMP OF THE MONTH!

Mother/Daughter SHopping day!

Today I thought I would share some photos of the Mother/Daughter Shopping Day Molly, Payton and I had last week. My son Tucker was on a retreat with his Youth Group and my hubby, Stan had to work so it was the perfect day to take my daughters shopping. And shopping we did! We had fun visiting "Wonder Works," an amazing toy store here in Charleston and "Princess of Tides" which is a children's boutique conveniently located in the same shopping center as Wonder Works. It was a nice crisp sunny day and oh so fun! The girls and I are excited to scrapbook our memories!

Colors of FALL!

What fun I had creating these layouts! I have to admit I got a bit weepy as I scrapped photos from 2003-2006 (why does time have to pass us by so quickly?!). I love the color combinations in this "Olivia" kit. My November Scrapbook Clubs will be creating these 3 2-page 12 x 12 layouts. The 3rd layout was inspired by good friend and fellow consultant, Karen Pederson (thanks Karen!). If you are not currently in one of my scrapbook clubs but would like to give a class a try or would actually like to join please contact me. All are welcome. We would LOVE to have you! My November Classes will be meeting on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11th 9:30 a.m-12:30 and 6:30-9:30 p.m. and SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13th 9:30 a.m.-12:30.

Birthday Party Review!

Hello!
I do apologize for not posting sooner than today. I tried posting some artowrk using the October Stamp of the Month the other day but the photos kept posting upside down. I am so sorry!

Today I will share some of the highlights from p
ayton's 8th birthday party. What fun we had! And i must brag about how well the girls did making their cards. they got so into it and did a FANTASTIC job! The first photo is of the card I created for Payton. She lo
ves the new Lagoon and Pear colors that CLose To My Heart introduced to us in September. the stamp sets I used were #D1431 Happy Holidays and #B1332 Good Times. I also used the Lagoon and Pear Mini Medley Collections (#Z1340 ans #Z1339) and the Winter Buttons (#Z1284).
Each guest received their own stationery box. I embellished the My Creations Memory Keep
er (#Z116) and their boxes were filled wiht a variety of blank notecards, an ink pad, a glue stick and a name stamp (#K900) and their initial stamp.
Her are a few photos of the girls with their cards. Enjoy!

Our Birthday Girl!

Sorry that I have not posted in almost a week. I have been busy preparing for my daughter's birthday party which is this Saturday.
Yesterday was Payton's actual birthday and we celebrated her all day long! I can not believe my baby is now 8 YEARS OLD! I love the beautiful girl she is growing up to be but...I do get a bit melancholy thinking about how fast life is passing by. Payto
n is our youngest child and she truly completes the McGrew family. She has been nothing but joy these past 8 years and I thank God above for blessing our life with her. She truly is a treasure. Here she is at school yesterday passing out her birthday treats. She made a yummy trail mix for her classmates (it has candy corn, caramel popcorn, pretzel sticks, Cheez-It crackers and Reeces Pieces). We worked together creating these fun little tags that we embellished each treat bag
with. Payton's teacher liked this treat because it was not messy and the kids could save what they did not eat.
As I mentioned, Payton's party with her friends is Saturday. The theme of her party is "Monograms." The girls will be creating their own personalized stationery at the party. Here is the invitation I created for the party. My inspiration for this card came from Jeanette Lynton's blog post about a month ago. Payton loves the new colors Close To My Heart came out with in the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book. Her most favorites are Lagoon and Sky so these are the colors we are using for her party. I still have lots to get done before the big bash on Saturday afternoon. I will share some other fun with you once the party is over! If you have any questions about the artwork and products I used to create these projects please feel free to contact me via email... (stamperamy@earthlink.net)
