I am in LOVE with the exclusive “Dotty For You” paper pack that CLose To My Heart created in honor of National Scrapbook Month (which is the month of MAY).
This paper pack is available NOW and up until May 31st.  It is super EASY to order and SUPER inexpensive!
I am celebrating this yummy paper pack by hosting a super fun workshop and YOU are invited!  This workshop is designed so ANYONE can participate.  If you cannot attend the workshop in person than “kits to go” are available!

Here is the scoop:  to participate  you need to have a “Dotty for You” paper pack (which you can get between now and May 31st for FREE (earn free when you host a minimum $400 gathering or book party OR become a CTMH Consultant) or for only $5.00 (place a minimum $35 order to qualify).  In addition, you must purchase at least the BASIC WORKSHOP KIT.  After that, anything you choose to purchase is up to you.  Keep reading for details.

A Scrapbook Layout says "It All!"

Is this not the cutest little scrapbooker?  This is Izzy.  She is a member of my Kid's Scrapbook Club.  This is one of the layouts she created last week at our club.  I fell in love with this precious girl all over again when she shared her layout with me.  How precious can one get?!  I love teaching kids...they say it like it is and are not afraid to put themselves on their layouts.  If only us big girls could do the same, eh?!

First Born

I have been an emotional mess the last several days.  My one and only son...my first born is going to be graduating from 8th grade in 2 weeks.  As I shared with you earlier this week, we traveled down to Winter Haven, Florida last weekend to support Tucker (my son) and his school robotics team at the World Robotic Invitational Competition.  Tucker and his team worked hard all year long to place 2nd in the state of South Carolina which earned them a spot at the world Competition.
Tucker is a typical teenage boy...never puts his clothes in the laundry, forgets to put the milk in the fridge when he is done with it, does not like to make his bed, etc.  In other words-he drives me CRAZY because I am always having to repeat myself asking him to do the most obvious of things.  I often wonder if he will ever grow up.  Well, last weekend at the competition my husband and I learned something else about our first born.  Tucker is the most humble child we know.  Stan and I saw a whole new Tucker in Florida.  We had no idea he could perform the way her did, talk to judges so comfortably and be such a team player and encourage his team mates.
Yes, Tucker is our son but I just had to dedicate my post today to him.  Last weekend I realized that my son has indeed, matured and is GROWING UP.
His teachers have emailed me saying what a pleasure he has been to have in class, that he brings so much to class discussion and that Rollings Middle School of the Arts in Summerville, SC will not be the same without him walking the halls.  This week he started band practice at the high school in preparation to next year.  I dropped him off at the GREAT BIG SCHOOL Tuesday afternoon and drove away with tears filling my eyes.  I don't want him to go to high school!  How did he get to be 14?  I also realized that he will only be around for another 4 years before he goes away to college.
And I think that having  to remind Tucker to put the milk away and pick  his dirty clothes up off the floor is not so bad after all....
I love you, Tucker James!

Board Book...perfect for Father's Day!

Hello!
Today I would like to share a fun little project that is perfect for just about any male figure in your life.  I was inspired to create this project by Wendy Cauffman, a fellow CTMH consultant.  Wendy created a  mini album using chipboard.  I made some changes and created a 6 x 6 board board.  The CTMH 6 x 6 board books are available on the "While Supplies Last" link on my website for just $4.00 per book!  I think board books are perfect for individuals of ALL AGES , THEMES and EVENTS!  I will be offering this project as a workshop, as well as, a "Kit to Go."  Details will be coming soon!

An Incredible Robotic Weekend!

What a weekend my family and I had!  My son, Tucker and his school Robotics Team (The Rollings Robo Knights) competed at the World Robotics Invitational in Winter Haven, FL.  The competition began on Thursday and ended yesterday at Lego Land.  It was a weekend of learning and fun.  Seeing these kids from all around the world come together and "play" and compete together was awesome.  The Robo Knights did a fantastic job.  We were so impressed with how smart, clever and creative these kids are.  Makes us feel good about the future of our world!  Here are some photos of our weekend!  I am so excited to scrapbook ALL of our memories!
