My Daughter's First Studio J layouts!

Greetings! I am still alive! My family and I have been out of town on our annual Camp McGrew Camping Trip. What fun we always have on this family get-away and this year was one of the best...say our children! My youngest daughter, Payton (age 8) was busy all day today scrappin' in Studio J. I was so impressed with how quickly she took to my MAC and Studio J. She knows how to do more than I do! Aren't these layouts awesome!

Tucker's First Studio J Layout!

I spent all of 10 minutes a few weeks ago teaching my son, Tucker (age 13), how to scrapbook in Studio J. He has since created about 6-7 layouts! I love that he is enjoying it, that he is doing something constructive on the computer when it is too hot down here to be outside and I LOVE that he is documenting some of our family memories! July Card Club Projects

Greetings!

I am getting ready to teach my June monthly scrapbook and card club. The members will be arriving for the Thursday morning class in about an hour. Yesterday I shared with you the layouts scrapbook club will be creating next month.

Today I would like to share the cards we will be creating at the July card club class. We will create 12 cards (2 each of the 6 designs you see here). Like scrapbook club, anyone is welcome to attend a card club class. If you are not already a member of the monthly club you are MOST WELCOME to come try a class. We would LOVE to have you join us in on all the fun! Class is FREE...you only pay for the supplies you will use at class!

Jubilation: The June Stamp of the Month

Here is a card I created using the June Stamp of the Month: Jubilation (#1457). I used the Wings paper pack (#X7135B), Juniper Ink Pad (#Z2165), Vineyard Berry Ink Pad (#z2157), Black Waxy Flax (#Z1089), and the Green Brad Assortment (#Z1364).

I created my own pattern cardstock by simply using the bone folder (#Z1204). I scored my cardstock every 1/8th inch and then turned the cardstock over and rubbed my Vineyard Berry Ink Pad across the surface. Simple and Fast and the results are striking! Give this technique a try today!
